Role:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the volunteer program, including recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers
  • Develop and implement strategies to effectively engage and motivate volunteers
  • Supervise and guide volunteer coordinators and other staff members involved in volunteer management
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify volunteer needs and assign volunteers to appropriate roles
  • Utilize social media platforms to promote volunteer opportunities and engage with potential volunteers
  • Maintain accurate records of volunteer information using Donor Dock or similar CRM systems
  • Coordinate volunteer recognition events and initiatives
  • Conduct public speaking engagements to raise awareness about the organization’s volunteer program
  • Help develop and deliver training programs for volunteers to enhance their skills and knowledge

 

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field preferred
  • Strong social media management skills to effectively promote volunteer opportunities
  • Ability to recruit, train, and manage a diverse group of volunteers
  • Knowledgeable in Donor Dock for managing volunteer data and tracking volunteer hours
  • Excellent public speaking skills to effectively communicate the mission and goals of the organization
  • Fundraising and Sales (Plus)

 

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
