Role:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the volunteer program, including recruitment, training, and retention of volunteers
- Develop and implement strategies to effectively engage and motivate volunteers
- Supervise and guide volunteer coordinators and other staff members involved in volunteer management
- Collaborate with various departments to identify volunteer needs and assign volunteers to appropriate roles
- Utilize social media platforms to promote volunteer opportunities and engage with potential volunteers
- Maintain accurate records of volunteer information using Donor Dock or similar CRM systems
- Coordinate volunteer recognition events and initiatives
- Conduct public speaking engagements to raise awareness about the organization’s volunteer program
- Help develop and deliver training programs for volunteers to enhance their skills and knowledge
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field preferred
- Strong social media management skills to effectively promote volunteer opportunities
- Ability to recruit, train, and manage a diverse group of volunteers
- Knowledgeable in Donor Dock for managing volunteer data and tracking volunteer hours
- Excellent public speaking skills to effectively communicate the mission and goals of the organization
- Fundraising and Sales (Plus)
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
